What to Expect at Magnolia Therapy

As a mother myself, I can relate to the push-pull of wanting to be your own person but also being “THE” person for your people. I also understand the complexity of your child’s emotional and social needs at home and at school. That’s why here at Magnolia Therapy, you can expect it all:

  1. Individual Support for Mom

  2. Parent Coaching

  3. Holistic Care for Your Children

One-On-One With Mom

“She is clothed in strength and dignity and can laugh without fear of the future.”

Proverbs 25:31

I am passionate about helping women in their transition into motherhood, and with the challenges of balancing children and life demands while also maintaining a sense of self. It’s important for mothers to find their own identity and rhythm both as a mom and as a woman. This is especially critical for major life decisions—like changing careers, choosing to stay at home with the kids, or going back to the workplace.

We’ll work through those transitions, and any fears, anxiety, and acute or chronic disorders that may impede a mother’s overall ability to function as a parent.

Magnolias represent dignity, spirituality, and peace, while also being known for their strength. My mission through Magnolia Therapy is to provide the appropriate support to help every client uniquely embody these characteristics.

Parent Coaching

Children are innately good and deserve respect. Every child wants to be seen and to feel safe and secure. I work alongside parents to ensure these needs are met.

Support for Your School-Age Kids

I help kids overcome anything that hinders them socially or emotionally. We’ll create systems to help them thrive and to enhance their overall well-being and performance in academia.

I also provide young athletes with the mental and emotional support that’s needed to deal with the pressures and dynamics of competitive sports.

As a child, I overcame my struggles through the therapy and resources that I now offer parents and kids. I understand because I’ve lived it, learned about it and created systems to thrive! And for the past 10 years, I have been helping other families do the same.

I look forward to helping you, too!
